Two water seals are supplied for the conventional configuration, the one is forward water seal which ensures the gas generated from the generator to the acetylene tank and block the fire source in case of the fire in the generator. The other one is reverse water seal which is a main safe device to ensure the gas in the acetylene tank can flow back to the generator when the internal pressure of the generator is low and prevent the air from entering the generator.
